Oh wow Rachel, I didn't know you wrote poetry as well.
I love the image of savage pain, the Don Quoxie chasing the windmill of words that can only be appeased by someone who is probably not even aware of his/her impact.
Author's Response: I don't...this just kind of came out one day. Maybe I'll write some poetry again sometime. :-) Don Quixote...hmmm, I've got that on my shelf finally, I do believe I should go read it. Thanks for the review!
I've been horribly remiss about reviewing this. I have to say this is, by far, once of the best crossover stories dealing with Buffy and the Harry Potter universe that I've seen, and I can't wait to see where else you take it.
Author's Response: Thank you very much! I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying it and hope you'll like where it goes.
Weee... a new chapter (and I even resisted reading it whilst it was still in the queue).
Between you and Ubiquirk, I'm a happy chappy on the Buffy/Potter cross overs. I'm trying to drag Ubiquirk over to the dark side of Doctor Who as well, so I can get some wonderful Doctor Who/ Potter crossovers as well.
But I digress... Wonderful chapter as always, can't wait to see more!!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm so glad you're enjoying it. I really need to see Dr. Who one of these days. So many are so into it, and I'm pretty much clueless. There shall be more soon, as this chapter was originally hugely longer and got split in 3.
Okay, this time, I admit, I cheated. I was verifying corrections and saw this in the queue and read it before it posted! Can't wait for the next installment of this.
Author's Response: That's not cheating. That's "making full use of your resources" in Slytherin-speak. ;-) It's also very flattering, so thank you very much! Chapter 12 will be submitted as soon as I get it all coded, but then there will probably be kind of a gap before 13 is ready.
*is very happy Ubiquirk is posting over here!*
Giles is... well certainly Giles, and man oh man, is Snape a snarly bastard!
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm really glad you enjoyed the story and Giles and Snape!
Aw man, that was awesome! Totally awesome.

OMG!!!! THIS IS PERFECT!! I LOVE QUANTUM LEAP!!!!! You've got their characters down pat, and wow! *squee*
Author's Response: Thanks, from one QL-lover to another! ;-)

This is an amazing work so far. What's great for me is that I just read this last night and it's all fresh in my mind, so seeing it as String-theory-AU is really interresting, because that's what good AU is all about. A series of stories written on this AU twist could inspire a whole new line of "What if" where so few have to die...
Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it. I don't think I'll write any more of these (unless it's from Al's POV. I wanted that scene where Al meets Harry.)

Hee! This was excellent. I've missed Sam and Al a great deal and you brought them back to life for me in a very, very good story. I normally don't like cross-overs, but this is an exception. Very well done.
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you made an exception and enjoyed it.

Oh... oh... I feel like I need a moment to catch my breath and gather my thoughts. I've loved Quantum Leap for so long, watched it since I was a kid, and seeing this fic was just perfect. Like I said for the last chapter, I could actually see this fic becoming an AU turning point, with its own universe history and so forth.
I never got into Buffy at all, so that cuts out most of the cross-over fic that seems to be here... really great to see this. (And now I'm going to look forward to seeing who you are once the contest is over!)
Author's Response: Thanks! I loved Buffy, so I enjoy those crossovers as well, but QL has a special place in my heart. (And Sam and Harry both have that "Gotta save the world" thing going.

Pardon the goofy fangirl squealing for a second - but OMG!!! You've combined my two favorite series into one FANTASTIC crossover! (I didn't think ANYONE watched QL except me and my sister, and now I'm lucky if I can catch it on Sci-Fi.) Wonderful characterizations - from Sam trying to adapt, Al being Al complete with "I'm the damn boss here, so shut up" attitude, to keeping the entire HP crew in canon.... FABULOUS!! Lots of kudos and chocolate chip cookies for you, because you've made my day with this one!
Author's Response: Thanks! It was lots of fun to plot and write. I miss QL.

I've never seen the movie, but I enjoyed this very much anyway. Very neat idea!
