Her eyes are red after "drinking", and his are butterscotch, which means that the wolves she...ack! (I don't want to know who they were, but I'll bet that the treaty is definitely off.)

Author's Response: Oh dear, I didn't even think of that! But I like the idea. I only meant that Bella was still a newborn and was plagued by a nearly unquenchable thirst, but that idea of yours... Don't be surprised if I ever use it.
