I'm a full-time graduate student in English Lit., studying literary theory and British literature. I used to work in political theory/philosophy and law, but literature is my first and best love--I'm a lifelong reader, and my house is filled with books. I'm a Michigan native, I've spent some time living in France, and I love black coffee, black tea, black shoes and black clothing. Not in an emo sort of way; I just like the impact it makes. Also, it makes it very easy to decide what to wear!

I'm also a full-time Snape fan, and I enjoy writing and reading about him in nearly any genre or pairing: slash, het or gen, SS/HG, Snarry, Snuna, Snupin...and so on. Essentially, if it has Snape, you've captured my interest. If it interests me, I'll try to write about it.

You can find my other stories and drabbles at other SH archives (Occlumency, Lumos, Ashwinder, Eros and Sappho), the Petulant Poetess and my Livejournal.
