Waiting in line can be eternity, but for the Reverend Barry Selwell, eternity is just getting started.

Oh wow, it had to feel pretty good to write this. I would like to send folks like Barry to hell, and you did it! I really liked this!

Author's Response: Well, as often as they like to send everyone else to hell, I thought it was only fair to return the favor. Thank you so much, redvelvetcanopy! I'm so glad you liked it!

Her husband hardly responded in the best of times. So with this new information, she wasn't sure what she expected, it certainly wasn't this.

This was extremely powerful. It seems to be such an accurate portrayal of how things can go when an emotionally-damaged soul falls helplessless in love, yet is so very scared of being in that vulnerable position. Well done!!

Author's Response: Thank you very much! I tried as best I could to get that right, I am glad it came across correctly!

I love this piece. I have to say that I am quite thankful Zeus hasn't had his way with us--yet, anyway. I often wonder about the difference between loneliness and solitude. I rarely feel lonely when I am alone. Rather, I feel the peace of solitude and quiet. I think, however, that frustration comes not so much from being alone, but rather needing something from someone. Personally, I feel worse when I am with someone and not getting what I need. That is the absolute worse feeling of anguish and loneliness that I know of. Anyway, sorry to go on and on!

Author's Response: A review! Thank you so much for reading my story and reviewing! Now I'm not alone anymore! :) But, seriously, I agree with your take on solitude and loneliness. I feel so much worse being "alone" with someone than being alone with my books and thoughts. It's a horrible feeling when the person you're with has no idea what's going on inside you, and vice versa. Still, at least we're not alone in this feeling of isolation. There's something comforting in the knowledge that even all those years ago the ancient Greeks recognized this feeling.

Very nice. It makes perfect sense that he would use Murtagh and Thorn's bond to use benefit. I can't wait for the third book to be released!

Author's Response: When I closed book two, that plot bunny about Murtagh and Galbatorix wouldn't leave me. I needed to think about how things could have happened, and it came out as this one-shot. I can't wait for book 3 too, though I'd rather wait one more year and have a good book. I don't want Paolini to pull a Jo Rowling ;)
