I liked the way Severus's insecurities led him to dismiss Celia's attempt at flirtation and a compliment ("dancing on the music"). It was very inventive the way you had him use his potions expertise to try to find out what Celia is--and dropped another clue in the process. The argument between the two about his spying on her was very enjoyable; Snape needs a woman who won't let him push her around. And how appropriate that Celia should have an affinity for snakes!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad that worked. Yes, I think you're right that he needs someone who will stand up to him, and I'm glad that came through here.
