I was expecting another vampire story when it started out, and was surprised and delighted that it turned out the way it did. Nicely done!

Well, if you were 16 when you wrote it, I'm impressed. Short, angsty and really fluid. It was a good short.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! This was the first short story I've ever written, and yes, I did indeed write it when I was 16...that was 5 years ago! Hard to believe. Fluidity is something I sometimes struggle with, so I'm glad this worked! Thanks again!
